Last night I watched the video "The Awe Factor of God" on crazylovebook.com. I just cant get it out of my head. How BIG and creative and awesome our God is. That He created the universe and all that is in it for us to enjoy and discover anew each day.
And to think that this big, amazing, mighty, almighty God would take time out of creating the universe to think about creating me. Not just think about creating man, humans, Adam and Eve, but to consider creating ME. That He took time to think about what i would look like, give me blond hair and hazel eyes. and not just give me blond hair, but to know the number of hairs on my head (Matthew 10:30). To give me free will, even though He knew from the beginning how much I would screw up. How many times I would turn my back on Him. He even put a plan in place to save me; a way to come back to Him. Sacrificing Himself, His only son, for someone like me.
Why would a God that has the universe at His disposal choose to breath life into me? Why would He give up His son for me? Because, He loves me! He desires to have a relationship with me. He doesn't need me, He wants me. He has a plan for me (Jeremiah 29:11). How exciting is that?

New to the world of blogging
I have never blogged and not sure I will like it, or if I will stick to it. I just feel like I always have a lot of stuff running around in my head. Maybe if I can get it out there will be more room for more important stuff. I'm not really sure where to begin, but here goes nothing.
This morning when I was watching a 'news' program there were these two men going at each other like rabid dogs. Both convienced they were 100% right and the other guy was 100% wrong. Isn't it funny how we always think we are right? No matter what the subject, if you have a thought on the matter, than you are right. How can that be?
How can we have totally opposite veiws and still be so convienced that "I am right and you are wrong?" Is there no middle ground? How can every political party, religious denomination, talk show host, etc. be so sure their way is THE WAY?
Why do we even belive what we believe anyway? Is it to make someone bigger than ourselves responsible so we can pass the buck? Is it to justify the lifestyle we live? Is it because we want to be just like dad, or never be like our mother? Is it all the little Life Commandments we picked up along the way?
I'm not really sure why. I just know that when I am passionate about something, that is the way it is. I am right and you are wrong! :-)
